Scott Gold is an author and freelance writer living in New Orleans.
Before returning to his childhood home in New Orleans to write about food, Gold lived in New York City, where he published his first book, The Shameless Carnivore, and worked as a freelance writer and mixologist.
Before publishing his book, Gold worked as a literary agent while playing guitar in a band. Gold graduated from Washington University at St. Louis, where he majored in philosophy.
